To see the white feather quill tip root in fertile ground and grow into a peace dove 🕊️ large as a tree to spread wings a sing the children a song. The poem doesn’t just end. Words carry on a new life one read. Had to read again.
I love the form you use here, how it flows seamlessly without me even noticing there's no punctuation.
I look out for those little signs. Once, a white owl sat outside my window peering in and then did 2 circles overhead when I went outside, it came at particularly challenging time.
They come -- these signs, these little wonders -- when least expected. I was photographing the other day the trunk of an olive tree in the park. There was a formation on the bark that resembled an owl. As I was fumbling with my camera, a Scops owl hooted just above my head. Three hoots and then silence... I don't know for how long I stood there looking up :)
Beautiful poem! You perfectly describe the fall and the anticipation. I'd run down the stairs for that! Love the song too!
Thank you, dear Pilgrim!!!
Sheer loveliness. I’d fly down those stairs too.
I did -- this is not a made up story :)
It feels inspired! I believe it! Love it
🙏
I could see the fall so clearly!
A little miracle in the air :)
Absolutely fantastic!
🙏 🖤
Such a beautiful capture of so much - what a lark! A handful of life.
Thanks Fotini
Thank you, Jonathan :)

Wow! Thanks for that, Richard. It means a lot!
i't spins on its axis with the quill
pointing down in the most perfect
angle as if on a mission to write
in mid-air a fast paced villanelle'.
Beautiful, evocative piece!!
Thanks!!! 🙏
A beautiful poem that floats with anticipation. Thank you, Fotini!
And I thank you, Paul. 🙏

Owls are so magical, what a special experience, on the double too.
